Unknown to many, Adrian Sutil is the son of professional musicians, and himself a gifted pianist before turning to karting at 14 years of age.

Adrian Sutil has also represented Team Germany in A1GP back in 2005, and scored 2 number 12 positions.

Despite driving a highly uncompetitive car for Spyker, Sutil's efforts and impressive performances were recognised by the media and the team. He managed to score one point in the season 2007, and constantly outperformed his teammate and scored the highest position as 9th during the Japanese Grand Prix before Toro Rosso's Liuzzi was penalised for overtaking him under yellow flags.
