Felipe Massa spent a season with Michael Schumacher in the Scuderia Ferrari team. He was often seen as the supporting driver during season 06, although he scored 2 wins. One of the wins was the Brazilian Grand Prix, making him the first Brazilian driver to win the Brazilian Grand Prix after Aryton Senna last did so in 1993.

In season 07, he is joined by Kimi Raikkonen, who has just moved over from Mclaren. While he is very strong in qualifying, Felipe is not able to convert those pole positions into victories, especially during the Malaysian Grand Prix when he lost 2 positions to the Mclarens in the first corner.

Felipe also had several run-ins with Fernando Alonso. After the European Grand Prix, when Felipe went to congratulate Fernando on his victory, Fernando criticised him for his aggressive move in defending his position. A verbal spat then followed, although the drivers appeared to be calm during the press conference.
