Jenson Button took his first victory - after 113 races - in style in the 2006 Hungarian Grand Prix. He started from 14 on the grid after suffering from an engine change penalty, and in the heavy rain, he took full advantages of the retirements of Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen.

He has been criticised by former champion Nigel Mansell for underperforming in spite of all the hype around him as a British driver in F1. Jenson himself kept no secrets about how he felt towards the Honda car in 2007 season. He mentioned in several interviews about how poor his 07 season and the Honda car were. Despite his complains about the underperforming Honda car, he will be with the Japanese team for the 2008 season.
