Kimi Räikkönen joined Ferrari at the start of season 07, after a 5-year stint in Mclaren-Mercedes team. Nicknamed the “Iceman” by former boss Ron Dennis, Kimi is well-known for being cool, calm and collected during races. He finished runner-up in seasons 03 and 05, and is often plagued by mishaps affecting his championship chances.

Reportedly the highest paid driver in Formula 1, Kimi had a perfect start to the 07 season with a victory during the Australian Grand Prix. The subsequent lackluster performances led to rumours of Ferrari becoming impatient with their new signing. Towards the end of the season however, Kimi proved himself worthy of the money and won the Drivers' Championship during the last race (Brazilian GP) in what was seemingly an impossible task.
