It is definitely game-on between the two title contenders - Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa in the Belgian Grand Prix.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa conceded that his perfect lap was not enough to stop McLaren's Lewis Hamilton, who is the leader in the Drivers' Championship this moment just 6 points ahead of Massa. Hamilton's teammate Heikki Kovalainen is not far behind at 3rd while Ferrari's other driver Kimi Räikkönen, who is undoubtedly not going down without a fight this weekend, is at 4th.

Nick Heidfeld put in a spectacular performance the whole of this weekend, but it will all boil down to tomorrow's race to see if the German's hard work will pay off. He desperately needs a good show to convince his current employer BMW will renew his contract. Fernando Alonso brought his Renault to the 6th position on the starting grid, ahead of Mark Webber's Red Bull. Robert Kubica, who had a good start to the season but his performance has seemingly lost its sparkle lately will start from the 8th place tomorrow.

The Toro Rosso team will be elated to have both cars in the top 10 on the starting grid - a great achievement for the Ferrari-powered team. Sebastien Bourdais even managed a very surprising fastest lap during Q1, topping the chart ahead of the McLarens and Ferraris.

Nico Rosberg was unable to repeat his qualifying performance of the previous race in Valencia, and will be starting in the 15th position. His teammate Kazuki Nakajima appears to have problems with his car and will start from the 19th place, just ahead of Force India's Giancarlo Fisichella.

With the main contenders battling it out at the front of the field, we can expect to see drama during the race tomorrow as the weather forecast looks uncertain and there are signs pointing to a rainy event. Fuel strategy will play a vital role and it is to be seen if the two on the front row are indeed having a lighter fuel load than the two on the 2nd row as suggested by ESPN Star Sports' commentator Steve Slater. However, there could very well be surprising result should the rain fall as we had already seen plenty of action especially during Practice 2. The long circuit means that the rain may not affect the whole circuit making the tyre choice an even harder one, so further back might just fancy their chances once the rain falls.

The starting grid for tomorrow will be as follows:
