Kimi Räikkönen, who is rumoured to quit F1 after 2009, is possibly considering to move over to the World Rally Championship after his retirement from Formula 1 after 2009.

Räikkönen, 28, has recently hinted at the possibility of going into the rally career after his F1 career ends. When asked what he would do if he were to quit F1, he said, "I won't get bored,"

"When I stop Formula One, I intend having fun by running in other series." the Finn then went on to express particular interest in the rallying world, where currently fellow Finnish drivers Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala are driving for the Ford team and enjoying considerable success.

"At some time I want to try rallying. That interests me; asphalt, gravel and ice." Kimi said.

However, he also expressed his doubts about him getting used to the rallying world. "It's difficult to say, because I have never done a rally seriously," he said. "On asphalt I would probably be okay but on gravel I have no experience. And having a co-pilot for me would be difficult. I am not used to that."

Certainly Hirvonen, Latvala and even 2-time Rally World Champion Marcus Grönholm would be more than happy to offer some advice to their fellow Finn here.
