In Phase 2 sales for the tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix (taking place on 26-28 September 2008), another 14,000 tickets will be released.

Following the chaotic sales that took place during Phase 1 sales, the Singapore GP organisers will be more than keen to not repeat the same embarrassing situation that resulted in many enthusiastic fans balking at the system that crashed during the first day of sales.

As such, Phase 2 of the ticket sales, which will include 10,000 seats at St. Andrews Road right in front of Padang and single day passes for the seats left over from the Phase 1 sales, only after the organisers are sure that the system can handle the sales adequately.

Talks with the Singapore Recreation Club and the Cricket Club are still on-going, as the organisers negotiate with the relevant bodies on how the interest of the members of the respective clubs will not be compromised with the 3-day event.
