Sonia Irvine, sister of ex-F1 racer Eddie Irvine, is the lady behind the Amber Lounge concept. Inspired by the lack of night activities (since F1 is a day-event in other countries with the exception of Singapore starting from this year), Amber Lounge is the perfect place for celebrities and drivers to relax and let their hair down after an adrenaline-pumping day on the track.

The formula that keeps Amber Lounge going is the attention that the Amber Lounge team pays to their guests, especially the drivers' individual needs. Every minute detail right down to the arrangement of the signature white sofas in the lounge have been planned with much thought and precision with the absolute welfare of the guests kept in mind to ensure everyone's comfortable and enjoying the party.
