Fans with Tickets from Unauthorised Sellers Could be Turned Away
The tickets for the Singapore Grand Prix will be sold via www.singaporegp.sg only after the Chinese New Year, but some websites have already tried to capitalise on the hungry fans by selling unauthorised tickets on their website.

In the latest scam alert from Singapore GP Pte Ltd, the official race organisers, the unofficial website www.f-1singapore.com has been offering tickets on their website. The website offers three-day grand stand tickets for only US $270, and offers buyers exclusive F1 race souvenirs.

The race organisers have yet to publish any official ticket pricings of the event, athough there had been several speculations that the standing tickets will be at SGD$150, while the grandstand tickets at the start-finish straight could go as high as SGD$1,300. Singapore GP has also stated that the official ticket distributor appointed is OmniTicket, while several travel agents will be appointed to provide package tickets with accomodation and flights for visitors.

Fans buying tickets from unauthorised sellers could find themselves turned away during the event day, and also be subjected to higher ticket prices.
