| Free Passes Given to Singapore Recreation Club and Singapore Cricket Club |

 Johnnie Walker's Join the Pact event was held in front of Padang. 700 free 3-day walkabout tickets will be given out to the Singapore Recreation Club and Singapore Cricket Club, both situated at the Padang and within the race circuit for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix. The tickets are worth $168 and are transferable for all three days (meaning 3 different people can turn up for Sunday's race day, Saturday's qualifying and Friday's practice session) . The negotiation has taken place for almost half a year and finally an agreement has been reached. According to Channelnewsasia, "SRC said it plans to charge a nominal fee for the 700 tickets and its 5,500 members will have to ballot for the tickets".
