| K1 Series Grand Finale to Take Place on F1 Circuit |
 Copyright K1.sg The K1 Motorsports Carnival series will be holding the grand finale on the Singapore F1 Grand Prix race circuit on the 26th and 27th July. The go-kart competition has been ongoing since December 2007 to raise awareness of Motorsports in Singapore heartland areas, such as Punggol, Keat Hong, Sembawang and Bedok, with future carnivals to be taking place in Geylang Serai, Tanjong Pagar and Marine Parade. The finale will feature go-kart enthusiasts running on the very tarmac surface and circuit route that the Formula 1 drivers would be running on during the Singapore F1 Grand Prix on 28th September later this year. The event is expected to attract up around 40,000 people and organisers hope to bring in Keiichi Tsuchiya, otherwise known as "Drift King", to give a drifting demonstration. The K1 Motorsports Carnival is jointly organised by CS Racing, Singapore Motor Sports Association, People's Association and the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
