| Räikkönen Excited About Singapore Night Race |
 Copyright REUTERS/Wrooom2008-Photo Service/Pool (ITALY) World Champion Kimi Räikkönen has expressed that he is "excited" about the night race that will take place in Singapore this coming September. In the winter retreat with his team Ferrari, Kimi said, "Seriously, I don't think it is going to be any different from the daytime. They are going to put up enough lights, so you don't know if it is day or night time". 1st runner up to the 2007 Drivers' Championship Lewis Hamilton has also stated that he is looking forward to the race. The Singapore Grand Prix, which will take place at 8pm on 28th September 2008. Featuring prominent buildings of Singapore like the Esplanade, the Fullerton Hotel and the Singapore Flyer, it is set to create history as the first ever night race in Formula 1.
