Singapore F1 Tickets On Sale on 14th February
The first phase of sales for the Singapore Grand Prix F1 tickets will start tomorrow, 14th February 2008 at 9am via the official Singapore GP website  or via the hotline 6738 6738.

Phase one will be the sales of the three-day passes. The price ranges are as follows:

Pit Grandstand, Turns 1,2,3 Grandstand = $1388
Stamford Grandstand = $998
Raffles Grandstand, Marina Grandstand = $698
Esplanade Waterfront Grandstand = $498
Upper Bay Grandstand = $298
Lower Bay Grandstand = $248
Walkabout = $168

Plans for more grandstands to be installed at the Padang area have stalled as the officials of the Singapore Recreation Club, Singapore Cricket Club and the organisers could not come to an agreement. However, if the negotiations are successful, the organisers expect to build grandstands that will charge low to middle range pricings.

The cheapest ticket is the Walkabout tickets, with which fans can access many areas around the circuit other than the sector surrounding the paddock and nearby grandstands. However, there are concerns on the restrictions of view as safety barricades are to be built around the track to ensure safety of the fans and the drivers.

While the tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis, each person can only buy up to a maximum of 8 tickets so that more people can enjoy the race.

Fans are reminded once again to buy the tickets only from authorised sellers so as to prevent being turned away during the event day if the tickets are not acknowledged by the organisers.
