Singapore has conducted a live demonstration of the lightings for the Singapore Grand Prix coming in September this year.

Yesterday evening, lighting constructor Valerio Maioli switched on 16 projectors on a 64-metre stretch that had been set up on St Andrew's Road in a live demonstration to  Mr Iswaran and tourism officials.

The lightings, which provided the officials and the public a taste of what driving under the special lights set up for the September 28 event would be like, are at 3000 lux as compared to the 100 lux normal street lamps in Singapore.

The lightings will be on from 7pm to midnight daily, until the 6th of April.

Other than the lightings, the Singapore Grand Prix will also be featuring the Electronic Flags which went on trial in Barcelona during February this year.
